PFS Summer Enrichment Thrives at Westridge with Diverse Activities

Summer is officially here, and Partnership for Success (PFS) is in full swing at Westridge School! This five-week summer enrichment program hosts girls in grades 5 and 6 from the Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD). During this enriching experience, Westridge’s PFS scholars immerse themselves in a variety of engaging classes such as English, math, robotics, and woodworking. These classes are designed to spark their creativity and enhance their academic skills, providing a well-rounded educational experience.

In addition to their in-class learning, the girls embark on exciting off-campus field trips, which offer them the opportunity to explore new environments and learn outside the traditional classroom setting. These trips not only provide fun and adventure but also aim to broaden their horizons and inspire them to think beyond their immediate surroundings.

Moreover, the program is infused with a vibrant sense of community and school spirit through special themed spirit days. These days are designed to foster camaraderie among the participants, allowing them to bond over shared experiences and celebrate their time together at PFS. Each spirit day brings its own unique theme and activities, adding an extra layer of excitement and enjoyment to the program.
