PHS Law & Public Service Academy: Exploring Future Paths in Public Health

The Pasadena Public Health Department (PPHD) welcomed more than 50 students from Pasadena High School’s Law and Public Service Academy for an engaging educational visit. Students explored diverse career paths in public health through tours, demonstrations, and a career panel with PPHD professionals. The partnership highlights PUSD’s commitment to career-connected learning and the city’s shared goal of preparing students for impactful roles in public service and health. The visit gave students a firsthand look at how public health experts safeguard community well-being through collaboration and innovation. It also inspired many to consider careers that make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
