Poly’s First Grade Class: Creating Different Gingerbread Men

Mrs. Siegel’s first grade class and Ms. Grogan’s second grade class had an amazing week of collaboration! Together they compared and contrasted 14 different gingerbread man stories, engineered gingerbread friends traps, and created their own gingerbread characters!

When the wonderfully tempting and camouflaged traps were checked on Friday morning, the sneaky gingerbread friends had left the students a note to decipher. While they unfortunately didn’t catch any gingerbread creatures this time, the gingerbread friends did leave them some fun stickers for trying! Next week, the students will write their own gingerbread tale and share it with their buddies!
