Poly’s Seventh Grade Walking Trip
The seventh grade walking trip, a long-standing tradition, is an opportunity for students to experience the many wonderful historic and cultural sites that Downtown LA has to offer. Polytechnic School students and teachers rode the Metro train to Union Station, where they then gathered in advisory groups and began to explore the city on Friday. Highlights of the tour included Union Station, The Cathedral of our Lady of the Angels, The Music Center, Disney Hall Gardens, Biddy Mason Park, Bradbury Building, Grand Central Market, Bonaventure and Biltmore hotels, Pershing Square, and Olvera Street.
