Polytechnic Girls Soccer Earns Big Win Over League Opponent



On Tuesday, Poly’s girls Varsity soccer team hosted Westridge School in a big Prep League face-off. The two went into a tough-fought, head-to-head game. Poly took two goals off of the Tigers in the first half. Westridge came back strong in the second half, looking to overtake the Panthers. They were able to score one goal against Poly, but the Panthers held on to the lead and finished with a score of 2-1.

The girls also played Providence School, tying in a scoreless game 0-0. This gives the team an overall record of 6-4-3, 1-0-3 in league. Next week, they host Flintridge Prep on Babcock Field on Tuesday. On Friday, the team will play in their senior match, when they will celebrate their five seniors.
