Polytechnic School Celebrates Pride Month

On June 4, 2022, a group of 30 Polytechnic students, parents/caregivers, alumni, faculty, and staff gathered to celebrate Pride Month on Arden Lawn.

The event, co-organized by the Upper School’s QSA and Trans and Gender Diverse Family Affinity Group, celebrated with music, games, and Porto’s. QSA leadership led fun introductions including sharing your favorite fictional queer character.

The representation of ages from parents/caregivers/alumni to students allowed a unique means to connect with LGBTQIA+ individuals from many different generations. Should you be interested in joining more events like this in the future, please contact rwill@polytechnic.org.

Polytechnic School, 1030 E. California Blvd., Pasadena, (626) 396-6300 or visit www.polytechnic.org.
