Polytechnic School’s Dance Team Wins Coveted Unity Award

Poly’s 2015-16 Panther Dance Team and Mascots recently completed their annual summer training camp held at UCSB. After much hard work, they earned superior ratings in all major evaluations. More importantly, the other teams voted unanimously to present Poly with the coveted Unity Award, honoring them for exhibiting excellence in cooperation, communication, teachable spirit, kindness, and support for each other and for other students in camp.

Having won this award every year for the last decade, the team takes great pride in being honored with the Unity Award.

During the four-day camp, teams participate in training that includes classes in technique, dance and mascot routines, and crowd management, as well as workshops in team and character-building, and they undergo evaluations for all the material presented.
