Preserving Legacy: Pasadena Waldorf School Safeguards Donor Bricks and Invites Community to Rebuild

Pasadena Waldorf School has shared reassuring news with its community regarding the cherished donor bricks that once lined the Wishing Well at its Mariposa Street campus. Despite the recent fire, the bricks were successfully preserved and carefully relocated to the Mendocino Street campus, just a few blocks away. As anticipation builds for the school’s upcoming spring event, “Coming Home,” taking place on April 25 in Altadena, the community is being invited to take part in a meaningful opportunity to honor and rebuild.

In conjunction with this event, Pasadena Waldorf School is offering supporters the chance to dedicate special Cornerstone Bricks salvaged from Scripps Hall. Once inscribed, these bricks will join the original donor bricks and become part of the future reconstruction of the Mariposa campus, symbolizing resilience and continuity. In the meantime, the original donor bricks remain safe and are currently on display at the McComb campus.
