PUSD and Marshall Fundamental Unveil Revitalized Library Media Center

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) celebrated the grand reopening of the newly renovated Library Media Center at Marshall Fundamental School in Pasadena, CA. The ribbon-cutting event highlighted PUSD’s ongoing collaboration with the College Football Playoff Foundation (CFBF) and its partner, School Specialty, as well as the Tournament of Roses and the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF). This partnership focuses on transforming school libraries into vibrant spaces where students can read, explore, and prepare for their academic and career futures.

Marshall’s revamped Library Media Center now features modern furnishings and an innovative design, creating a dynamic space for collaboration and learning. Highlights include a conference table and easily accessible book displays to support student book clubs and other academic activities.

This marks the fourth successful library renovation under the partnership between PUSD, CFBF, the Tournament of Roses, and PEF. Previous projects have revitalized the libraries at Octavia E. Butler Magnet, Eliot Arts Magnet, McKinley School, and now Marshall Fundamental School.
