PUSD Celebrates Leadership in Diversity

Congratulations to Dr. Shannon Malone, Pasadena Unified School District’s (PUSD) Senior Director of TK–12 Schools, who was recognized with the Valuing Diversity Award by the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region XV. This award highlights Dr. Malone’s leadership and deep commitment to advancing equity and justice across PUSD. Through her work supporting principals and school leaders, she helps turn equity into everyday practice so students feel seen, valued, and know that they belong. Her dedication continues to strengthen inclusive school communities and foster meaningful change across the district. Dr. Malone will now represent Region XV as a nominee for statewide recognition, shining a spotlight on PUSD’s commitment to equity-driven leadership. “We are PUSD proud!”
