PUSD Distributes More than 15,000 No-cost, At-home COVID-19 Antigen Tests

PUSD employees have been working overtime to help the community get vaccinated, boosted and tested for COVID-19. This Thursday and Friday, PUSD distributes more than 15,000 no-cost, at-home COVID-19 antigen tests provided by the California Department of Public Health. All TK-12 students attending in-person instruction will receive one rapid antigen testing kit from their school to test your child for COVID-19 at home. The goal of the PUSD Take Home Antigen Test Program is to reduce the risk of transmission by identifying students who may be positive for COVID-19.

Please use the kit if you think your student has been exposed, or is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. All kits will come with clear instructions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBt_H4Gc-rU&t=4s

For more details about how to plan test days so that it is an optimal time to use the test, how to share test results with local health officials, and how to clearly understand results so that parents and students know what to do next, visit pusd.us/testkits.

Thank you for your cooperation in helping slow the spread of COVID-19 and keeping our community safe!

Sincerely,
PUSD Health Programs
