PUSD Juniors Have a Chance to Represent Students on California State Board of Education

Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) is highlighting a statewide leadership opportunity for high school juniors: applying for the student position on the California State Board of Education. The opportunity builds on PUSD’s recent efforts to give students meaningful opportunities to lead and have their voices represented in district governance through initiatives such as the Student Think Tank and Student Assembly. https://www.pusd.us/departments/student-think-tank/think-tank-home

The statewide position offers students an opportunity to take that leadership experience beyond the district and help bring a student perspective to education policy at the state level. Apply at https://ed100.org/blog/high-school-juniors-apply-now-for-student-position-on-state-board. Interested juniors are encouraged to learn more about the position and submit their applications by September 25.
