Raising Their Voices for Altadena: Pasadena Waldorf School Remembers and Rebuilds

One year after the Eaton Fire forever altered Pasadena Waldorf School’s Altadena community, students reflected on loss, resilience, and hope through music. Last week, the Pasadena Waldorf School High School Chorus had the honor of opening A Concert for Altadena at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium. Standing on that stage and singing on behalf of their school, their neighbors, and the future of their community was a powerful and unforgettable moment for the students.

Surrounded by moving testimonies from community leaders, remarkable performances by Dawes and other legendary artists, and the heartfelt words of host John C. Reilly, the evening underscored a shared truth: Pasadena Waldorf School’s Altadena community continues to heal and rebuild together. The school extends its sincere thanks to all who joined in supporting this meaningful night, a reminder that when voices come together, they carry strength, hope, and purpose.
