Ramona Convent: 2nd Place Winner in 2014 IPJC JustVideo Contest Winners

Congratulations to Ramona Convent juniors Agnes Song, Martha Vasquez, Amy Melendrez, and Jessica Duong who won 2nd place in this year’s IPJC JustVideo contest!

The contest hosted annually by the Intercommunity Peace & Justice Center (IPJC) invites students to produce and submit a video on immigration, human rights, or environment. Students are asked to create a dynamic video that shares what they have learned and inspire others to act for justice while incorporating elements of Catholic social teaching, social justice, and/or Catholic/Christian tradition. Sr. Anna and her class have been studying human trafficking and water rights in class so this was the perfect opportunity for them to express what they have learned artistically. Congratulations ladies!
