Ramona Convent Hosts a Traditional Christmas Tea for Seniors and their Mothers

Ramona Convent’s traditional Christmas tea for the seniors and their mothers returned in-person this year. The festive décor of the Holy Family room, coupled with the animated chatter of the seniors and their moms made for an enjoyable afternoon.

The sophomores and their moderators pulled out all the stops serving the delicious sandwiches and scones on its best china and pouring from the “special occasion” silver tea pots. Four of the seniors are legacies: Valeria McJunkin-Contreras (Patricia Contreras ’94), Samantha Valadez (Josie Aversa ’86), Lauryn Santiago (Jereen Bautista ’92), and Isabella Montoya (Eugenia Solis ’88).

It was a beautiful opportunity for Ramona’s amazing young women and their remarkable mothers to eat, chat, sip, and repeat!

Ramona is a welcoming Catholic college-prep high school for girls in grades 9-12. Ramona graduates face the future with an extraordinary education, a global vision fueled by Catholic values, an independent spirit, confident leadership skills, the support of their Ramona sisters, and the strength of a legacy of more than 130 years of excellence.
