Ramona Convent Welcomes Motivational Speaker Kate Garnes to Inspire Students
Ramona Convent Secondary School was proud to welcome nationally recognized motivational speaker, DJ, emcee, choreographer, and author Kate Garnes to campus for a powerful and inspiring presentation for students.
Kate Garnes, author of Mixtape: How To Stop Listening To the Recordings of Your Past, engaged students in an interactive and meaningful conversation centered on self-worth, confidence, and personal empowerment. Her presentation encouraged students to “sound their battle cry” — challenging them to take ownership of how they see themselves and what they believe they are capable of achieving.
A self-proclaimed “gladiator,” Garnes shared her unique message of fighting for one’s worth from within. Through storytelling, energy, and authenticity, she inspired students to step into their “inner arena,” where confident gladiators are made, and to replace self-doubt with strength and purpose.
“We are grateful to Kate Garnes for sharing her powerful message with our students,” said Valerie Green, Dean of Student Life. “Her visit aligned beautifully with Ramona Convent’s mission to empower young women to lead with confidence, character, and courage.”
