Ramona Convent’s “Gold & White Reunite” Alumnae/Student Game Day

On Saturday, Ramona Convent Secondary School welcomed alumnae across the decades to participate in Gold and White Reunite – the annual varsity/alum competition. Sunny but brisk weather made an enjoyable afternoon for athletes and spectators alike on the soccer field. Varsity scored two goals in the first half and held on to the lead for most of the second half.

In quick succession, the alums scored three goals and won the match 3-2. After a quick lunch at the taco truck, the alum/varsity basketball game began. It was an exciting game; the lead changed several times; again the alums prevailed 27-24. Yes, Ramona athletes who graduated 40 years ago can still give the varsity a run for their money!
