Ramona Convent’s Mardi Gras Celebration

Thanks to Ramona Convents’ French Club, French class, and Ms. Mona Louka, the community was treated to a special Mardi Gras Celebration. The event included prayer, a Mardi Gras presentation, trivia games, prizes, jazz music, French songs, mask decorating, a photo booth, and face painting. Food items included dishes from different French-speaking countries: France, Morocco, Belgium, Lebanon, and Egypt. The finale to the event was the crowning of the QUEEN of the day, Ashley B. ’22 who was declared the lucky winner when she found the little baby in her cupcake. She and two of her friends were treated to a ceremonial ride on the Mardi Gras float!
