Ramona Convent’s Pre-Med Club Welcomes Nurse Practitioner for Inspiring Career Talk

Ramona Convent Secondary School extends its gratitude to Mrs. Lynette Martin del Campo, DNP, FNP-C, a nurse practitioner at Keck Medical Center of USC and the mother of Jalen M. ’27, for sharing her expertise with the Pre-Med Club. Mrs. Martin del Campo provided an insightful discussion on the academic journey to becoming a nurse practitioner, opportunities for volunteering and internships, and the diverse specialties within the field.

Mrs. Del Campo’s engaging presentation inspired students to consider the dynamic and rewarding career paths in healthcare. In appreciation of her time and contributions, club president Lauren I. ’27 presented her with a gift in honor of Nurse Practitioner Appreciation Week. The school is grateful for her commitment to mentoring the next generation of medical professionals.
