Ramona Graduate Isabella T. ’25 Wins Prestigious NHS Scholarship, Headed to USC

Isabella T. ’25, recent graduate and distinguished member of the National Honor Society (NHS), has been named an NHS Scholarship National Semifinalist, earning a $3,200 scholarship in recognition of her outstanding achievements.

Isabella’s unwavering commitment to the four pillars of NHS—scholarship, service, leadership, and character—distinguished her among thousands of applicants across the nation. Her dedication to excellence makes this recognition both well-earned and inspiring.

Since 1946, the NHS Scholarship program has awarded over $25 million to outstanding senior members to support college access and student success. The program is made possible by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), the parent organization of NHS.

At Ramona, Isabella embodied the values of NHS through her extensive leadership and service. She served as ASB Commissioner of Publicity, President of Ramona Radio, Vice President of Ballet Folklorico de Ramona, and News Anchor for Tiger Network Television. She has also contributed both onstage and behind the scenes in numerous Ramona Theatre productions and is a dedicated Ramona Student Ambassador.

Isabella was accepted to several universities and will be attending the University of Southern California where she will pursue a Business of Cinematic Arts major – a competitive cohort-based program that admits only 55 students each year through both the School of Cinematic Arts and the Marshall School of Business.

Established at Ramona in 1981, the National Honor Society has played a vital role in the life of the school. In recent years, NHS members have served as Tiger Tutors, led community outreach initiatives, and organized fundraising efforts to support school, service and leadership development projects.
