Ramona Radio Welcomes Back an Inspiring Alumna

Ramona Radio was thrilled to welcome back alumna Ariana Rodriguez ’11, who returned to share her journey in journalism and podcasting with students at Ramona Convent Secondary School. Ariana is the co-founder of Locatora Radio, an award-winning feminist podcast she created alongside co-host Zoe “Mala” Muñoz in collaboration with iHeartRadio. The podcast has earned national recognition, including a feature in New York’s Times Square as one of the best Latino podcasts.

Known for their signature “radiophonic novelas,” Locatora Radio blends pop culture, current events, and feminist analysis through a bold, DIY approach that resonated deeply with students. Ramona Convent extends sincere thanks to the RARA Podcast Club (formerly Ramona Radio) for organizing this inspiring meet-and-greet, and looks forward to welcoming Ariana back soon as a guest on an upcoming episode.
