San Marino High School Alumnus Returns as Science Day Panelist at HMRI

Huntington Medical Research Institutes (HMRI) recently welcomed San Marino Unified School District officials to its annual Science Day, held at the Engemann Family Auditorium on the HMRI campus in Pasadena. The event featured a panel discussion with leading physicians and medical professionals whose work is advancing healthcare and scientific research.

One of the event’s highlights was the participation of San Marino High School alumnus Dr. Patrick Chang, now a gastroenterologist at Huntington Hospital, who served as one of the panelists. Supporting him from the audience were his parents and San Marino Unified Superintendent Dr. Linda de la Torre, making the occasion especially meaningful. The gathering celebrated not only the accomplishments of a distinguished alumnus but also the lasting impact of a San Marino education and the success of graduates who continue to make a difference in their communities and beyond.
