San Marino High School Athletics Signing Day

San Marino High School honored five Titan athletes who will be continuing their athletic careers when they go on to college in the fall recently.

Selina Wu- Saint Mary’s University- San Antonio

Selina will be joining the Rattler’s tennis program after helping the Titans capture the CIF Open Division Championship this past fall season and the CIF Division 1 Championship her junior year. Along with Julianne, she was named co-MVP of SMHS’ tennis program.

Julianne Nguyen- Fordham University

Julianne was an integral member of SMHS’ Open Division Championship tennis team, going 9-0 in singles competition throughout the course of the playoffs. Along with Selina, she was named co-MVP of the tennis program.

Benjamin Hughes- Middlebury College

Benjamin will be taking his running expertise to Middlebury College in the fall. Benjamin placed fourth over all at the California State Division 4 Championships, an impressive accomplishment.

Michael Liquori- Hendrix College

Michael will be attending Hendrix College to continue his baseball career. He was named the Titans Pitcher of the Year during the 2022 season and was named to the Second Team All Rio Hondo League.

Sebastian Liquori- Hendrix College

Sebastian will also be bringing his baseball talents to the Warriors of Hendrix College. Sebastian’s hard work earned him the Defensive Player of the Year during his junior season.
