San Marino Unified School District’s Board of Education congratulates the students of the San Marino High School Debate team for winning 1st Place in overall sweepstakes at the Southern California Debate League’s debate tournaments for the 21st time. Debate Coach, Matthew Slimp shared the hard work of the competitors leading up to the tournament as, even during this pandemic, they showed-up everyday and learned to effectively use their voice from the confines of their homes.
