San Marino High School: November National Letter of Intent Signing Day

Amanda Redding- West Chester University

San Marino High School Senior Amanda Redding has committed to continuing her volleyball career at West Chester University in Pennsylvania.

A four year varsity athlete, Amanda Redding has given opponents a tough time offensively and defensively. She has the ability to change the game with her blocking ability and is a reliable and powerful middle attacker. Redding was named the team’s defensive player of the year as a sophomore. She was again named the team’s defensive player of the year as a junior and added second team all Rio Hondo League to her list of accomplishments. Redding concluded her final year with the Titans by being named the team’s MVP and was selected to first team all Rio Hondo League.

Titan’s head coach Angel Ramirez notes that Amanda’s “willingness to do the things others are not willing to do” is an integral part of her past success. There is no doubt that Redding will continue to strive in volleyball and in her many endeavors.

Amanda and her fellow Rams compete in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference. We can’t wait to see Amanda don the purple and gold next season.
