Sequoyah Advanced Studies Spanish 4 Class Field Trip to “El Universo en tus manos/The Portable Universe” Exhibit

Sequoyah Advanced Studies (SAS) Spanish 4 class field trip to the “El Universo en tus manos/ The Portable Universe” exhibit at Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). These Sequoyah School students have been studying how the very design of the exhibition space and the objects displayed evidenced the indigenous Colombian cosmo vision that all beings, animate & inanimate, are connected, have purpose, and must be cared for. Students said they felt peaceful in the space and wished they could stay longer.
