Sequoyah Community Say Thanks to its Field Studies Team

The Sequoyah community gives thanks to Brian Eagen, Director of Field Studies, and David Cutler-Kreutz, Assistant Director of Field Studies, for all they have done to guide them through this challenging time. Brian and David lead Sequoyah’s Health and Safety Working Group and have been working around the clock since the start of the pandemic to ensure the safety of the community.

In normal times, they are responsible for designing and implementing the school’s K-12 Field Studies Program, which begins as a two night camping trip for k-1 students in the Anza Borrego Desert and culminates with a 15 day backpacking trip for 12 graders to a variety of locations. The school look forward to next year, when hopefully it will be able to get all its students back out and into the field.
