Sequoyah School Highlights Experiential Learning Across K-12
Sequoyah is a school where students shape their own learning experiences, discovering what genuinely sparks their curiosity. Through Field Studies, the Social Innovation Program, Talking Leaves, and other signature programs, students explore new environments, broaden their understanding of the world, and engage in meaningful research that helps them develop resilience in the face of challenges. Field Studies Program

Sequoyah’s Field Studies program uses the magic of outdoor and international experiences to create meaningful learning for students about themselves, their communities, and the broader world.
Experiential, hands-on learning, challenges students to think differently, problem solve, and work as a team, while also building personal resilience and deepening relationships with other students and faculty.
Social Innovation Program
To prepare graduates for a highly interconnected world facing complex social and environmental challenges, students are required to complete a four year Social Innovation Program (SIP) designed to not only cultivate students’ empathy, and passion for doing good, but the foundational skills of social entrepreneurs.
Talking Leaves
Talking Leaves honors the individual academic growth of each student and provides opportunities for them to present and lead intellectual discourse. Students explore and analyze a chosen topic based on a meaningful intellectual experience and reflect on its role in their growth as scholars.
