Sequoyah Students Unite for Fire-Displaced Peers

Sequoyah High School students, in collaboration with the Philozineia Teen Collective, are leading a community-driven effort to support students in the Pasadena and Altadena areas who have been displaced by the recent fires. As part of this initiative, the students are collecting essential school supplies to create kits that will be distributed to those in need. Backpacks are especially in demand and are at the top of the wish list.

The supply drive will run until January 16, giving community members ample time to contribute. The full list of requested school supplies can be accessed through the link in the school’s bio. For additional details, please visit Fires.com.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for stepping up and leading this meaningful effort,” shared a school representative.
