Sequoyah’s Bamboo Forest Class Welcomes the Year of the Snake with Lunar New Year Activities

Lunar New Year celebration in Sequoyah School’s Bamboo Forest class! Students decorated their own traditional Chinese drums (Bolang gu), were given red envelopes and practiced receiving them with respect (both hands and a bow), and enjoyed chicken and veggie dumplings which signify prosperity. Lunar New Year celebrations are taking place across both campuses. Happy Year of The Snake, Sequoyah!
