Sierra Madre Elementary School’s Ms. Richey to Build Solar Rovers, Spiderbots and Doodle Bots with PEF Teacher Grant
Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) is excited to see Ms. Dany Halmay Richey’s (Sierra Madre Elementary School First Grade Teacher) teacher grant project!
“Thanks to PEF for the generous $2000 robotic grant!! We’ll be building solar rovers, spiderbots, and doodle bots with our buddy class Kristina Keck!”- Ms. Dany Richey
PEF Teacher Grants help inspirational teachers throughout PUSD take their creative projects from idea to reality by providing resources to enhance the classroom experience for their students. The grants, provided directly to the teachers, benefit thousands of students in Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. The Teacher Grants program is one of PEF’s signature programs, and has been around for almost 50 years. This year, Pasadena Unified (PUSD) over 180 educators received $200,000 in grants thanks to the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF), College Football Playoff (CFP) Foundation, and Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association. The grants, awarded yearly, benefit thousands of students in the public schools of Altadena, Pasadena, and Sierra Madre. (Pasadena Educational Foundation)
