South Pasadena defeats San Marino 24-17, Extends Win Streak to Three

South Pasadena, after losing eight of their last nine matchups against San Marino, turned the tide with a 24-17 victory on Friday, avenging their previous 10-7 loss. Trey Freking led the Tigers with a career-high 188 rushing yards and a touchdown, contributing to the team’s impressive 314 rushing yards—their highest total this season. San Marino found the end zone with scores from Parker Wilson and Chase Mena, but the loss snapped their three-game home win streak, dropping them to 3-4, while South Pasadena improved to 5-2 with their third consecutive win.
