South Pasadena High School Euphonium Player Named to California All-State Honor Band

South Pasadena High School congratulates senior, Jillian Ran, who performed in the California All-State Honor Band during President’s Day weekend at the California All-State Music Educators Conference (CASMEC) Conference. Ran played first chair in the Concert Band. She has been playing the euphonium for approximately six years and will graduate in June.

The All-State Honor Band brings together the finest high school musicians from the entire state of California to perform under the direction of nationally and internationally known band directors. This year, approximately 1,400 students auditioned and only 325 were selected for the honor bands.
