South Pasadena High School Girls Golf Team Fundraiser Gives Program a Boost

On April 5, 2021, the SPHS Girls Golf Team held a Golf-a-Thon fundraiser at the Arroyo Seco Golf Course in South Pasadena. Working with their new head coach, Isaac Yamagata, the team encouraged fans to contribute funds based on the number of holes played, number of birdies made, a flat amount, or other creative scenarios.

The team raised more than $9,000 and hopes to use the money to continue building for the future, including holding youth clinics to develop a passion for golf in the community.
