South Pasadena High School Students Host Voter Registration Drive

South Pasadena High School (SPHS) held its fifth annual Student Voter Registration drive from September 22-26, 2025. In California, eligible students who are 16-17 are able to pre-register, and those 18 and over are able to register to vote.

Students from Oliver Valcorza’s AP Government and Alisia Engelhard’s Civics classes volunteered their time during lunch to help students pre-register and register to vote so that their voices may be heard in upcoming elections. Student Commissioner of School & Community, Sam Allen, along with ASB assisted with the week-long registration process. Student volunteers worked with The Civics Center, who provided promotional materials and support.
