South Pasadena High School’s iKOMO Visits Intuit Headquarters

On May 16, 2019, the South Pasadena High School (SPHS) iKOMO Business Plan Team traveled to Intuit headquarters in Mountain View, California. Intuit’s education program leaders invited iKOMO to experience a day in Silicon Valley after the team earned the Virtual Enterprise Business Plan National Championship title. The students attended problem solving workshops, participated in financial lesson planning, competed in a scavenger hunt in the Museum of Computer Science and presented their award-winning business plan to the Intuit leadership team. Throughout iKOMO’s competition preparation, Intuit provided SPHS with a business mentor from its San Diego office to assist the students. These opportunities are thanks, in part, to the Virtual Enterprises International program and serve to strengthen the business expertise of those involved.
