SPEF Marches with Purpose at South Pasadena’s Festival of Balloons Parade

The South Pasadena Educational Foundation (SPEF) proudly participated in this year’s Festival of Balloons Parade, bringing vibrant energy and purpose to the community celebration. SPEF board members walked the parade route to shine a light on the many ways the foundation supports local public schools—thanks to the generosity of its donors.

Through programs such as after-school enrichment classes, summer camps, direct teacher grants, and major funding initiatives, SPEF plays a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of South Pasadena students.

In addition to marching under the SPEF banner, board members also joined other beloved local groups, including the Women’s Club, D.U.D.E.S., South Pasadena Little League, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, AYSO, and many more—reflecting the foundation’s deep roots and collaboration within the community.
