SPEF’s Food For Thought Returns to Support Local Schools

The South Pasadena Educational Foundation (SPEF) will bring the community together for its annual Food For Thought dine-around on Wednesday, September 25, 2026.

The daylong community event, presented in partnership with the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, invites residents to enjoy meals with family, friends and co-workers at participating local restaurants while supporting education in South Pasadena.

As part of the event, participating eateries will donate 10% of their sales throughout the day directly to SPEF. The proceeds will help support programs and initiatives benefiting the South Pasadena Unified School District.

Food For Thought offers residents a chance to enjoy the city’s local dining scene while making a meaningful contribution to the community’s schools. The annual event also highlights the partnership between local businesses, residents and organizations working to strengthen educational opportunities for South Pasadena students.

SPEF and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce encourage residents to participate by dining at one of the participating restaurants throughout the day and spreading the word about the community fundraiser.
