SPHS Sports Medicine Students’ Skills Impress Judges at First Regional Competition
For the first time in the history of the South Pasadena High School (SPHS) Sports Medicine program, the Sports Medicine Club and Advanced Sports Medicine students competed in the American Academic Competition Institute’s Sports Medicine challenge at St. Francis High School in La Cañada on March 15, 2025.
Out of 42 participating schools, South Pasadena High School (SPHS) placed 4th in our division for the main event competitions. The SPHS quiz bowl team (Elena Torices, Nicholas Yeh, and Will Girvigian) placed 1st. With all the competitions combined, SPHS earned 3rd place overall.
