SPUSD Student Support Services Conducts Safe, In-Person Assessments with Students



Since August, South Pasadena Unified School District (SPUSD) Special Education teams have been conducting in-person assessments with students, based upon Los Angeles County Department of Public Health guidelines—such as using social distancing, face coverings and shields, plexiglass dividers, and ultraviolet wands. This testing, with appropriate risk mitigation procedures in place, is critical in order for District staff to make important determinations around student eligibility and needs.
