St. Elizabeth Parish School Juniors Participate in CROP Hunger Event

This past Sunday, a group of St. Elizabeth Parish School junior high Spartans participated in the annual CROP hunger walk event. CROP Hunger Walks are community-led interfaith events that raise funds to end hunger locally AND around the world. In addition to the walk, they also collected food items to replenish local food pantry.

CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walks held across the country in an effort to combat hunger within “our” lifetime, according to the CROP Hunger website. Money raised from the walks goes toward both local and global efforts, with at least 25% guaranteed to stay in the community.
