St. Francis High School Announces Groundbreaking 2025-2026 Theatre Season

The Saint Francis High School Visual and Performing Arts Department proudly unveils its 2025–2026 Theatre Season, featuring two major productions: a powerful drama in the fall and a beloved musical in the spring.

Kicking off the announcement, alumnus Robert Allietti (Class of 2021) returned to share the exciting news. In his own words:

“Good day and welcome to the St. Francis 2025–2026 Theatre Season Reveal. I’m back, I’m Robert Allietti from the Class of 2021 and I’m glad to be letting you know these amazing shows coming out. To bring you yet again another memorable season, St. Francis Theatre has done its due diligence in finding you some incredible shows that embody all sixteen of Saint Francis’s virtues. We are very proud and excited about our fall production, as St. Francis will be the first high school ever given the rights to this play. This play was first an Academy Award-winning movie with the late Robin Williams. This fall, with special permission from Disney Theatricals, we present Tom Schulman’s Dead Poet’s Society. We thank Michael Wright, Tom Schulman, the legal department at Disney, and Disney Theatrical Heads in Contracting through Concord Licensing for making this happen. Dead Poet’s Society is being specially released exclusively for St. Francis Theatre. Auditions for Dead Poet’s Society will be held September 3rd and 4th. Performances are scheduled for November 20th through 23rd.

For our spring musical, we bring back the much-awaited, much-requested, ever-popular musical that has withstood the test of time. First in 2002, then in 2013—in 2026, it’s time to return to West Side Story. Auditions for West Side Story are December 1st through 4th, and performances will be held March 19th through 22nd, and again March 27th through 29th, 2026. I’m Robert Allietti, and I’ll see you at the Degheri Performing Arts Center for this year’s St. Francis Theatre season.”

Each year, St. Francis High School’s Visual and Performing Arts Department produces a compelling play during the first semester and a vibrant musical in the spring. Audiences can find ticket information for upcoming productions by clicking the Theater Productions button at the link below.
