St. Francis Welcomes Alumnus Bill Coffin ’63 for Insightful Personal Finance and Business Talk



The St. Francis High School Personal Finance class and Business Program welcomed guest speaker Bill Coffin ’63 to talk about the following: his “four big ideas that shape your financial life”; his experience founding and serving as the CEO of an extremely successful investor relations (IR) firm CCG; the core responsibilities, necessary skills, career path and roles at an IR firm; and his time at St. Francis during the 1960’s when 10 people ran the school!

Mr. Coffin is currently the Chairman of the California Council on Economic Education and has presented at the USC Marshall School of Business and Mt. St. Mary’s College. Mr. Coffin earned his BA in Economics-Business Administration from UCLA.

The St. Francis’ boys are extremely grateful to Mr. Coffin for his time, effort and words of wisdom to help them grow into responsible Golden Knights!
