St. Gregory A. & M. Hovsepian School Fifth Graders Read and Painted the Sistine Chapel

After the St. Gregory A. & M. Hovsepian School fifth graders read, “From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler” by E.L. Konigsburg, the scholars channeled their inner Michelangelo, who painted the Sistine Chapel while lying down on his back. The young scholars painted their religious-inspired masterpieces to get a sense of how he felt. Mrs. Claire played classical tunes as the students peacefully worked.
