St. Gregory A. & M. Hovsepian School Kindergartners Make Dinosaur Eggs

Dinosaur Month continued! The Kindergartners made dinosaur eggs with baking soda, cornstarch, and water. Then, they hid dinosaurs in the center of the eggs. After freezing the eggs, the students freed their dinosaurs using pipettes to drop vinegar onto their egg to help it hatch! They observed the chemical reaction between an acid (vinegar) and a base (baking soda).
