St. Philip the Apostle School’s Grandparents & Special Friend’s Day

St. Philip the Apostle School’s (SPAS) Grandparents & Special Friends Day will be held on May 8, 2015. Please use this document to send an invitation to a Grandparent of Special Friend to this special event. St. Philip is no longer mailing invitations.

One day every school year, St. Philip the Apostle School opens up the campus and celebrates its students’ Grandparents and Special Friends. The mission of this event is to honor and thank SPAS Grandparents and Special Friends for all their love and support. It is also an opportunity to showcase its students’ talent.

St. Philip the Apostle School encourage its guests to enjoy a reception and art show (new this year!) in Holy Angel Hall followed by May Crowning and a special prayer service (for Kindergarten we have a special program in the Hall exclusively for them), review students’ academic and extracurricular accomplishments, join SPAS for a Bake Sale and then join the students in class for a special activity. This is a joyful day for all at St. Philip the Apostle School.

The day begins for guests at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 11:30 a.m. Due to the big crowds expected, SPAS ask parents to reserve this day exclusively for Grandparents & Special Friends. Of course, 8th Grade parents are invited to attend the May Crowning…and 7th grade parents who supervise the Bake Sale.
