St. Rita Celebrates 4th of July and 100 Years of Education!

It was certainly a 4th of July to remember as St. Rita School celebrates 100 years of Education!

St. Rita School (SRS) administrators, staff, parents and students had a wonderful time celebrating Independence Day with the city of Sierra Madre! It is always a joy saying hello to fellow clubs, businesses and schools in Sierra Madre. It was exciting to display the St. Rita School, Centennial Cake Float and there are so many people to thank for making this all happen!

SRS thanks Mr. Castro for the beautiful Centennial banner, Mr. & Mrs. Weideman for building the cake float, Mrs. Santos for creating the decorating design for the cake and decorating, Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez for lending your trailer to transport the cake, Mr. Guerra for piecing together the cake, arranging all of the transportation and decorating, Mr. Gil for safely towing the cake through the parade, Mrs. Chung, Mrs. Lomeli, Mrs. Reimers, Mrs. Garcia, Ms. Mottola, and Mrs. Jenelle for decorating the cake, Miss Jose for prepping St. Rita’s cheer team, Mrs. Vazquez for serving as the school’s honorary cheer coach for the parade, and to all of St. Rita parents and students who participated and walked the parade route!

St. Rita couldn’t have done it without their support.

“Happy safe and wonderful 4th of July!”
