St. Rita School Teachers: Finding Fun and Interesting Ways to Keep Children Engaged during the Coronavirus Pandemic

St. Rita’s Mrs. Lopez and Miss Willner loved meeting their TK students on yesterday’s Zoom! St. Rita School thanks its TK students for sharing their favorite “stuffie” with us! “We welcome you to your new school; a place where all are welcome and all belong.” SRS is so excited for the 1st Day of School! Teachers have been frontline workers for children during the coronavirus pandemic. They have quickly moved to bring classrooms online and found fun and interesting ways to keep children across the Greater Pasadena Area engaged. Being able to log in every day is not a reality for most young students in their class. Not being able to connect with them daily is difficult but they make do of what they have.

Mrs. Vicki Jennelle met her Kindergarten Class on Zoom yesterday (pictured above)! Everyone had a blast! Welcome to Kindergarten! “I was SO happy to see those sweet faces today. Thank you St. Rita Kindergarten parents for spending the morning with me! Can’t wait to teach your children!”
