STEAM Sparks Creativity: Landforms and Learning at St. Gregory A. & M. Hovsepian School

St. Gregory A. & M. Hovsepian School’s young engineers are making waves and moving mountains! Miss Talar’s 1st graders and Miss Tamar’s 2nd graders wrapped up their STEAM unit on landforms and bodies of water with a hands-on engineering project that showcased their creativity and knowledge. From mountains, valleys, and plains to rivers, lakes, and oceans, students designed and built 3D models using their understanding of erosion, deposition, and weathering. In a special peer-learning moment, both classes visited each other to present their projects and explain key vocabulary like peninsula, island, and glacier. Future geographers and engineers in the making – way to go, learners!
