The Wondrous World of Author Julie O’Day Comes to St. Rita School

There is an adventure in every book, and author Jenny Morgan took St. Rita School students (Sierra Madre, CA) on an enjoyable journey with Julie O’Day! Julie O’Day is always curious about the world and those around her. During a day at the beach with her parents, Julie learns how families from around the world enjoy the sun and sand in their own special way.
While our TK-5th enjoyed listening to this delightful story, Jenny Morgan provided our 6th-8th grade students about the process of becoming an author including writing your story, submitting your work and editing. St. Rita has many young writers and they certainly benefited from this experience with Jenny. Thank you Jenny Morgan for sharing your story with us.
